What it’s like to grow up in a ghetto

Growing up in the city, you’ve probably grown up with a big smile and a smiley face on your forehead.

But if you’re looking to change that, here are some tips on how to grow out of that.

1.

Try to be an active kid.

The city is an unforgiving place, but you’ll have to be willing to work for your freedom.

If you’re not willing to do that, you’ll get frustrated.

Kids need to have fun.

2.

Don’t get lost.

It’s easy to get lost in a crowd of people, but if you look around, you can find yourself in places you’d rather be.

And that’s OK!

Just keep on walking, staying alert, and don’t let yourself be distracted by other people’s problems.

3.

Be honest.

When you go to the mall, try to find the one person who has the same thing you do.

If that person’s a girl, it might be hard to see her without looking over your shoulder.

4.

Be positive.

Sometimes, it’s easy not to be positive.

You can try to be happy about your life.

Or you can take a hard look at what you’ve got.

When things don’t go your way, smile and let the world know that you’re a good person.

5.

Don\’t be afraid to say you have a lot of friends.

Donations are easy to make, but it’s hard to give them back.

The more you do, the more likely you will be able to repay the kindness.

6.

You will be happy.

Your friends will probably hate you for it, but your happiness will be just as great.

7.

Be the center of attention.

Your peers will probably say the same things as you.

Don`t let them put you down.

8.

If the mall closes, stay home.

Make sure you take care of yourself.

9.

It’ll be a big life change.

When your life changes, the ones you’ll miss most are your friends and family.

And even if your parents and siblings are out of the picture, you won’t feel alone.

10.

Take the time to think.

Try thinking about what it was like growing up in another world.

Or what it’s going to be like growing out of a ghetto.

You’ll find that life will make sense.
