When Trump Jr. and Kushner met to arrange meeting

“My first impression was that they were really good people, and really kind, and very nice people, very nice, kind, kind of a gentleman, but they were also kind of creepy, they were not a nice guy, they weren’t a nice person, they had this kind of weird, creepy demeanor.”

“They said they were going to take care of their dad.

I said, ‘Okay, that’s nice.

Can I go and see your dad?’

I thought they were cool, they just had a different kind of approach to politics. “

They had the same kind of attitude that I was used to seeing from people like me.

I’m not in New Jersey. “

It was kind of funny that they wanted to meet him and not my parents, because they said they would like to meet my dad but I said no, I’m going to be in New York.

I’m not in New Jersey.

So I said OK, I’ll see you in New Yorker City.”

On Trump Jr.’s meeting with Jared Kushner: “Jared Kushner is a great guy.

He’s a good friend of mine, he’s a friend of my father.

And he said, “Well, you know, we’ll be going up to New York and meeting with the president and then we’ll talk about the rest of the things that we have in mind.”

On why Trump Jr., who has not commented publicly on the meeting, had not previously met with his father: “My understanding is that they had already discussed the possibility of getting together to talk about Russia, and Jared Kushner was going to come and meet with Donald Trump Jr because I think he wanted to go up to Trump Tower and meet the president to try to figure out how to get the Trump campaign off the Russia investigation.

And they were hoping that he could get a deal done with the FBI to allow the FBI and DOJ to keep investigating the Trump team.

“So I think Jared Kushner and his father are friends, and they have an understanding that they can work together to solve this.”

On Kushner’s father’s relationship with Russia: “The president has been clear that he doesn’t want to do business with Russia.

He said this during his first address to the nation, and it’s not something he’s going to change anytime soon.”

On whether Kushner’s meeting with Trump Jr was about Trump Jr’s meeting last year with a Russian lawyer: “I think it was just a matter of having a meeting with my father and being able to see what he was going through.”

On the extent to which his father’s Russia ties have hurt his presidential prospects: “It has hurt me tremendously.

I would have loved to have the Oval Office with him, but I think the American people have been misled.

The American people are being lied to.”

“The American people, especially the American public, have been lied to, they’re being lied through the use of political campaign rhetoric, through the constant demonization of Russia, through using these kinds of tactics to try and discredit the legitimacy of our president, which I think is a disgrace.”

“I don’t think it’s going away any time soon, and I don’t know how long the American American people will have to wait for this to stop.”

On the possibility that his father would try to take Trump Jr’ s meeting: “If he did, I think I would go to the Oval office and say, ‘Look, I have a problem.

I need your help, and you have to help me,’ and that’s the end of it. But I don´t think that’s going on any time in the near future.

I think it´s going to continue.

“I know that he has done some things in his life that have caused people to think he was dishonest, which is totally not the case. “

And so if he wants to do things that are going to make it difficult for me to do my job, then he has to do it himself.” “

I know that he has done some things in his life that have caused people to think he was dishonest, which is totally not the case.

And so if he wants to do things that are going to make it difficult for me to do my job, then he has to do it himself.”

The Washington Post contacted Trump Jr, Kushner, Manafort, Conway, Flynn, and other Trump campaign officials, but none responded to requests for comment.
